Size, address, and what you’re throwing in. A day of notice is usually enough. Same-day in Greater Springfield is an added fee.

We set it down
Driveway, yard, or a spot you mark. Street placement needs a permit from your DPW or police department first.

You load it level
Nothing above the rails. An overloaded box can be left on site until it’s corrected. Metal is fine.

We haul it
Fourteen days are included. Call when it’s full, or before day 30. After 30 days it’s on you to extend or schedule the pull.

ALL Waste Management runs roll-off dumpsters out of 181 Chestnut Street in Springfield. The truck covers Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. The price on this page is the price for one drop at one address: delivery, the tons listed for that size, fourteen days on site, and the haul back to the yard when you call.
A 10-yard is $395 with 1 ton. It fits a bathroom gut, a garage cleanout, or a small basement, and it is about 12 feet long, which is the box that still fits a tight driveway. A 15-yard is $495 with 2 tons, about 16 feet, and it is the usual can for a roof tear-off, a deck, or a floor. Shingles are heavy. A full tear-off often weighs more than the tons included, and weight past that line is billed by the ton. A 20-yard is $575 with 3 tons, about 22 feet, and it is the size most kitchens and house jobs end up with. A 30-yard is $685 with 4 tons. The footprint is about the same length as the 20-yard, with taller walls, for a whole-house cleanout or light demolition. The 30-yard needs room for the truck to swing.
Most drops land in a driveway or on a spot you mark. You do not have to be home if the spot is clear and the driver can get the truck in and out. A can on the street needs a permit from your department of public works or the police department before we will set it there. Load it level with the rails. An overloaded box can be left until the load is fixed. Metal is fine. Paints, oils, liquids, chemicals, propane, car batteries, and asbestos are not. How much notice do you need?+
Usually 24 hours to deliver or pick up. Same-day dumpster service is available in the Greater Springfield area for an added fee.
How long can it sit?+
The base rental includes up to 14 days, unless we arranged something else before the drop. The maximum term is 30 days. After that, call to extend or schedule the pull. Rental fees can apply past the date we agreed on.
What can never go in?+
Paints, oils, liquids, chemicals, pesticides, hazardous waste, flammables, propane tanks, car batteries, and asbestos. The city or state can take action if those end up in a rental.
What costs extra?+
Massachusetts waste-ban items can go in if you tell us first: TVs, monitors, mattresses, tires, and major appliances including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers. We price those before the drop.
Can it go on the street?+
Only with a permit from your local Department of Public Works or police department. Driveway placement doesn’t need that.
Can I throw in metal?+
Yes. Metal is accepted.
How high can I load it?+
Level with the sides. Nothing sticking up. Overloaded dumpsters may be left until the load is fixed, and extra rental or trucking charges can apply.
